Volvo FH, FE, FM, FMX, FL - We have definitive solutions to fix your problems - D6K, D8K, D11K, D13K et D16K engines
Volvo Euro 6 Adblue Off - Definitive programmation
All models supported
Recently, we have developed our own engine tuning, and found a way to make the EGR FAP and AdBLUE system inactive on Volvo Euro 6 from 2014 to Today. We give you more details just below.
On all Volvo Euro 6 equipped with ACM 2.1 Continental and EMS 2.3 and 2.4 TRW ECUs we now have new reliable, stable and tested solutions. We offer you to remove EGR - DPF - ADBLUE (SCR) - as well as the possibility of improving vehicle performance.
The operation consists of working at the heart of the computer directly in the vehicle's original program in the two management boxes, engine and post-processing.
It is necessary for us to have the truck sheltered for this tailor-made programming. The intervention time per vehicle is about 3 hours and sometimes more depending on where the ACM is located (hard-to-reach places on 6x4 8x4 tipper vehicles, carriers, etc.) Semi-trailer tractors are easier to access . It is also possible to send us the couple Engine management module and ACM, we can operate without needing the vehicle.
Nous prenons en charge tous les modèles Volvo Euro 6 FM FMX FL FH4 FH16 de 2014 à aujourd'hui, toutes cylindrées confondues pourvu que les véhicules soient équipés des modules décrits plus haut
What models can we work on ?
Basic Operation and Problem Parts
The engines affected by AdBlue malfunctions on Volvo Euro 6 heavy goods vehicles are mainly the D6K, D8K, D11K, D13K and D16K. The exhaust gas treatment system closely links the following elements: Engine management (ECU) and ACM computer (Aftertreatment Control Module) to the particulate filter and the AdBlue system. Here is a diagram representing the Euro 6 device fitted to Volvo trucks
7th injector
A specific diesel injector is used to the thermal management of the diesel oxidation catalyst. It also guarantees the efficiency of the diesel particulate filter and the proper functioning of the SCR system.
DOC Catalyst
DOC produces nitrogen dioxide (NO2) necessary for the diesel particulate filter to efficiently burn particles. A very low temperatures, it also provides the heat required for regeneration.
DPF
The filter captures and stores particles until their combustion during the regeneration. Regeneration takes place automatically, so that the driver has nothing to do.
SCR & ASC
In the mixing zone, the exhausts are sprayed with AdBlue. When they reach the catalyst, nitrogen oxides (NOX) are transformed into neutral nitrogen and in water. The ASC catalyst is the last step before the exhaust pipe. This is where any remaining ammonia (NH3) is removed.
Torque reduction, Speed limited to 20km/h
The speed limit of 20 km/h and the torque reduction are very restrictive for the driver. In fact, it is no longer possible to travel with the truck without endangering road traffic. This fault code can only be erased after solving your fault. In 90% of cases, this limitation is linked to a malfunction of the vehicle's polluting emissions processing system. Discover the elements generating this restriction below.
Faults in the AdBlue system can come from different sources.
Our solutions : Full programmation of EMS and ACM
Limp Mode Off and no more derates
Limp mode is one of the most restrictive modes which restricts you to a speed of 20kmh when your emission control system is faulty. Our box makes it possible to block the ADBLUE FAP system and REMOVE ALL THE LIMITATIONS in the computer. The box comes to connect directly in place of the original ACM.
Deactivation by programmation
Everything happens electronically. No additional element is connected to the vehicle. We proceed by complete reprogramming of the AdBlue system via the engine computer
MANDATORY CONDITIONS & PREREQUISITES
See below, One connector ACM, and 2 connectors EMS Module. We need to program both
DON'T WANT TO DELETE YOUR ADBLUE DEVICE?
We are aware that you do not want to inhibit your AdBlue device and it is completely legitimate. One to preserve the planet and two quite simply to comply with the legislation. However, you don't want to be stuck on the side of the road either, in power reduction mode with no solution other than to call the repairman and end up with a high bill, both by the repair itself and by the intervention on your AdBlue system in concession which is often around 3000€ and that is understandable.
On which models to act without removing Adblue?
In the majority of cases, the messages for power reduction in 8 hours, power reduction in 4 hours or even power reduction in 2 hours or power reduction on next start come from a fault present in your truck's emission control system. Very common on 11L D11K engines, and even more on those of 13L (D13K 420, 460, 500 and 540 engine) fitted to the Volvo FH 420, FH 460, FH 500 and FH 540 as well as some cases encountered on the Volvo FH16. , a little rarer because they benefit from a slightly different management of the gas recycling program. These defects are also present on Renault industrial vehicles which have borrowed the engine from the Nordic manufacturer. We are talking here about recurring problems on Renault T (T440, T460, T480, T500 and T520), of course under the Euro 6 standard.
Our jobs on Volvo Euro 6
Cause of the 20km/h limitation and fault P207F9A - Poor AdBlue quality
The truck's anti-pollution system is faulty, and will restrict the vehicle via the implementation in the computer of a program causing the truck to operate in degraded mode, completely limiting the traction force (torque), but also its maximum speed to 20 kmh , which means that the vehicle is unusable.
The problem mainly appears when the Adblue device is faulty. (problem on the Adblue injector or pump) this therefore produces an adblue dosing fault which therefore does not respect the quantities provided by the engine management module and therefore detects a poor quality of adblue. It often appears that the particle filter is faulty and requires replacing the cartridge depending on the fault code you have as well as the message. This can be confusing, because a message on your truck's dashboard indicating a fault in the quality of Adblue is actually, in the various cases we have encountered, linked to an overload of the particle filter or a fault present. on this one.
How to self-help and get out of the 20km/h limit?
Clear the fault immediately to restore power! How ?
Theoretically only the dealer or a garage equipped with the manufacturer's diagnostic kit is able to erase the faults. However, symptoms can recur very quickly; a few hours after erasure, or even after having driven a few kilometers, sometimes less than ten.
Following the resurgence of demand, we have developed a process for self-elimination of the fault before starting the vehicle. Removing the power reduction on heavy goods vehicles is now possible with Digiservices Normandie. Our mini case partly emulates that of the manufacturer when the technician launches the procedure for erasing the engine light, thus the truck regains its original power as well as its engine torque. The process is very simple, we have developed this system so that it adapts to all types of driver, from 18 to 65 years old (and more 🙂). The system is as simple as plugging in a 220V electrical outlet. No knowledge, hardware or diagnostics is required. Simply connect our system to the truck's OBD socket and our smart programmer will do the work for you as if you were in a dealership.
10s, Connect it's erased! Plug in, Switch on the ignition, Wait for the automatic process, Unplug, Switch off the ignition and START!!
This solution is an alternative allowing to make big savings by avoiding the safety of the truck. (troubleshooting, immobilization, waiting for a manufacturer's appointment, etc.) An in-depth diagnosis at the dealership (or with us in Normandy) is necessarily useful for diagnosing the exact origin of the problem, although the elements mentioned above are the most common. On the other hand, traveling tens of thousands of kilometers with a defective element on the truck is prohibited. We know how to act in most cases and have the troubleshooting solutions for your fleet.
