Delete AdBlue CAT 336GC : Adblue system fault
CAT C7.1 engine with power failure
Intervention on the Adblue system of this new-generation CAT 336GC hydraulic excavator equipped with an Adem 6 engine management ECU. The fault in the SCR system is causing the vehicle to enter a degraded mode, making it impossible to work at full power. We have solutions to remedy the problem.
Solving the AdBlue CAT 336GC fault: How?
In the majority of cases, these faults involve the SCR pump, the catalytic converter or the Nox sensors. Sometimes, even if all these components are replaced, the machine will start up again for a few hours, and then fail again, sometimes without the manufacturer knowing why, and so the hours lost are not profitable… The machine becomes unusable.
How to solve an Adblue problem on a CAT 336GC Excavator?
We need to connect and read the entire engine management program using our dedicated software. We’ll emulate the values for SCR (Adblue), FAP/DPF (Particulate Filter) and EGR (EGR Valve) operation in the engine management system, so the vehicle will be able to run without any of these elements, which can also all be disconnected.
We use our own software as well as proprietary CAT software, which gives us access to all machine values, as well as the ability to edit numerous parameters and control/deactivate them.
LIMP Mode operation (creep mode), which reduces travel speed, motor torque and power, is also deactivated, enabling stable, long-term resumption of work without ever having to be interrupted by this type of failure.
- Particulate filter regeneration not effective after intervention
- EGR valve operation deactivated
- Adblue injection stopped
- Potential for improved performance and lower consumption
Removing adblue from CAT 336GC excavators
The DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) tank on this machine contains 13.2L and therefore no longer requires refilling. On the other hand, the particulate filter can and should be emptied to ensure optimum exhaust gas circulation. The EGR valve can also be shut down if faulty.
Delete AdBlue CAT 336GC for export
Removal of the adblue system on the CAT 336GC is not permitted if the vehicle is intended to remain in Europe, as it is subject to Tier 4F or Tier 5 standards, depending on the year. It goes without saying that we cannot be held liable for any violation of this law. We can work on machines in France and Europe, but you alone are responsible for the use of your hydraulic excavator.
